Quick Bite: Solidly OK.

What It’s About: Nina, grieving the recent death of her father, is shocked to learn that he owned a mansion in a tropical paradise. Maria, at another point in time, stumbles on the house’s horrific secret.
A Word From The Nerd: This book was good. Not great, not terrible. The characters were all right, and although it didn’t go exactly in the direction I was expecting, it relied on far too many tropes & cliches to get there. Mostly predictable, but enjoyable enough.
